Pilates is a non-meditating exercise. Pilates helps to improve posture and alignment by focusing on strengthening mainly the core (abdominal) area and inner thighs. That being said, it’s also a full body workout therefore, most participants note toning and leaner looking muscles throughout the entire rest of their body!
