Manual Osteopathy is a non-invasive, drug-free, manual therapy. Osteopathic manual practitioners use their refined palpatory skills to evaluate, and then manipulate the musculoskeletal framework of their clients to re-establish proper body functions. They will work using muscle energy, osteo-articular adjustments, fascial and cranial techniques.
While taking into account the Human Being as a whole, an osteopathic manual practitioner aims to treat the cause of pain and dysfunction, rather than just the symptoms someone may present with. The therapeutic effects of manual osteopathy benefit men, women, pregnant women, infants, children and the elderly and can provide relief from a wide variety of mild and acute conditions.
